A bright shared boarding school bedroom with two students relaxing. The room has twin beds, desks, shelving, and large windows with views of greenery. It is spacious, practical, and designed for a comfortable, welcoming atmosphere.

Accommodation & meals

Oundle School offers students high-quality student residences in secure on-site boarding houses. Girls and boys are accommodated in separate, supervised accommodations. Rooms are mostly twin, triple or quad (with a few select single and larger rooms available), and all have shared wash facilities. All four boarding houses have comfortable social spaces (common rooms) and facilities where students can relax during their free time and in the evenings.

Meals are held in the Two Acre dining hall. We offer a varied menu with a mixture of British and international cuisine. Two hot choices are always available for lunch and dinner, with a complementary salad bar. Vegetarians and most special diets for medical reasons or religious observance can be accommodated upon special request before your course.

Set in the beautiful surroundings of the historic market town of Oundle, the expansive and prestigious Oundle campus provides an inspiring environment for international students. With state-of-the-art facilities, including the flagship Oundle School Sports Centre, students have access to numerous sports pitches, two sports halls, an indoor swimming pool, and a range of indoor and outdoor social spaces.

The well-planned campus is easy to navigate, with modern classrooms, unique learning environments, and comfortable residential spaces. These create a balanced atmosphere for learning, sports, and personal growth. The campus allows students to explore both the school’s extensive on-site facilities and the charming town of Oundle, rich in history and culture (under Staff supervision and applies to certain age groups).

LOCATION
Located in the heart of the traditional English market town of Oundle near Peterborough (20km) in Northamptonshire.
To support our students on their arrival in the UK, Exsportise offers a standard return accompanied transfer service (included in the price). We understand that our students' summer school journey starts the moment they depart from home. Our goal is to ensure they arrive in the UK feeling safe and enthusiastic about their upcoming summer school experience.
For Oundle School, our transfer services are available to and from:
- London Heathrow Airport
- St Pancras International Station
- London Stansted airport
Standard transfers are available on standard days: Arrival on Sunday & Departure on Saturday - between the hours of 09:00 to 15:00. Outside of these hours, students may have to wait longer.
Transfers outside of the standard arrival and departure day will incur an additional cost.

The available Specialist Academies at Oundle School are:
Arsenal Football | Horse Riding | Tennis | Dance | basketball
Students can choose either:
- The English + course: 15 hours of English Tuition per week and 15 hours of coaching/teaching in the chosen specialist academy per week.
  - Example: English (Morning - 3 hours per day) & Tennis (Afternoon - 3 hours per day)
- One Sport Academy option: For those with a true passion for just one particular sport, they may wish to choose this programme. This offers a total of six hours of coaching per day, three hours in the morning and three hours in the afternoon of one chosen Academy (30 hours total per week)
  - Example: Arsenal Football All-Day (6 hours per day)
- Two Sport Academy option: For those that thrive more on practical application than classroom learning, this programme may be the better choice especially if the main language requirement is practical everyday use of English. This programme consists of three hours of One Sport Option in the morning and three hours of another one in the afternoon, a total of 30 hours each week.
  - Example: Tennis (Morning - 3 hours per day) & Dance (Afternoon - 3 hours per day)
SPORTS AND LEISURE FACILITIES
Oundle School, a loyal partner of Exsportise for residential summer courses, is a co-educational Senior Boarding and Day School. Its excellent academic, leisure and boarding facilities and its vast open spaces makes this school ideal for our Academy programme.
Accommodation in the boarding houses considers the students’ privacy, sex, age, and special requirements. Boys and girls are accommodated in separate boarding houses. Most bedrooms have 2-4 beds per room including some rooms with bunk beds. Some single and larger rooms (up to 6 beds) may be available. Bathrooms are shared.
This centre has excellent sports facilities including extensive playing fields, a sports hall, tennis courts, a floodlit Astro pitch, a hard-court area, swimming pool, dance studio, and a cardiovascular suite.

OTHER FACILITIES
This centre has a good number of modern classrooms with interactive whiteboards, a modern drama theatre, music and arts facilities. Laundry facilities and dining room.
Exsportise CLUBHOUSE
The Clubhouse is a social space, equipped with sofas, TV, recreational games, magazines and tuck-shop where students can relax, socialise and chat in an informal and comfortable setting.
WIFI: Wi-Fi is available in some communal areas across the campus.
